Kristu Jayanti
Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) has been a beacon of learning and innovation since its inception in 1999 as an affiliated institution under Bangalore University. The institution is managed by the St. Joseph Province, of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), Kottayam, Kerala and is the first indigenous Catholic religious congregation in India.
Marking a significant milestone in its journey, Kristu Jayanti attained Autonomous status in 2013. As per the notification dated July 08, 2025, vide letter No. 9-13/2025–U.3(A), Kristu Jayanti has been conferred the status of Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India, under the General Category.

COMPUTER ACADEMY is the computer science club maintained by the Department of Computer Science(UG) having more than 800 members. The students of Department of computer science are encouraged to undertake a multitude of curricular and extracurricular activities beyond their syllabus to enrich their knowledge base as well as skills. This serves as a forum to interact and harness their lateral talents and strengths through various activities. Many Interactive, innovative and intellectual sessions are conducted in technology on diversified areas.
As a whole computer academy is a gateway which allows our next generation scientists, engineers, teachers, entrepreneurs and artists to be able to innovate using computation, have excellent communication skills, be professional in approach and attitude, spotlight in big picture.

Xactitude is the flagship National IT Fest of the Department of Computer Science, hosted annually as a premier platform for Institution to compete across a wide range of events that celebrate technological innovation and excellence. The fest seeks to identify and nurture talent across diverse domains of Computer Science, empowering participants to develop skills and ideas that shape the future of technology. General Guidelines
ELIGIBILITY
Undergraduate students pursuing Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related Engineering fields are eligible to participate.
ID & BADGES
- Participants must carry a valid college/university ID card.
- Participant ID badges must be worn visibly at all times during the event.
EVENT GUIDELINES
- Clarify doubts with the respective event heads before the event.
- One team per college per event is permitted.
- Participants must report to the venue 15 minutes before the event starts.
- Strict adherence to event decorum is expected; violations may lead to elimination.
- Participants may register for multiple events, provided there are no schedule conflicts.
- Organizers' and judges' decisions are final and binding.
- Read event descriptions carefully before participating.
- Participants must bring their own laptops as per event requirements.
